Case Study: County Government

County Government

Problem: Client needed an easily updateable website with the ability for specific departments to maintain and update content. An application was in place, but it was plagued with bugs and built with out-of-date technology.

Solution: In three weeks, we re-created the site using the latest version of Microsoft .NET 2.0 framework, SQL Server 2005, and the DotNetNuke content management application. Customization was built into the content management application without impacting core source code, meaning that the site can be upgraded easily in the future. The new version eliminated the pre-existing bugs and offered the client more tools than the previous version.

Case Study: Construction

Problem: Company website was filled with serious bugs and incompatible with many browsers, causing web traffic (and sales) to plummet.

Solution: In one month, we upgraded the site from ASP to ASP.Net, while optimizing the site for search engines and ensuring that the site functioned well on all popular web browsers. In addition, a content management system was created to alleviate difficulty the client was having to update the site and keep the content current. The site was also optimized for search engines resulting in consistent record-breaking traffic and sales. In addition, the web application was integrated with the client’s SQL Server database and legacy systems in order to automate the sales process.

Case Study: Non-profit

Darren Parker - Manager, Contoso Pharmaceuticals

Problem: The non-profit organization’s web site donation and e-commerce functions didn't work, losing the revenue stream desperately needed by the organization.

Solution: In less than three weeks, we implemented new e-commerce functionality and converted the static "brochureware" site to a database-driven web site. Revenue immediately began pouring in from the site, with our eCommerce-enabled donation and storefront system. The conversion also allowed the creation of Web-based content management that enabled the organization's personnel to edit web pages easily, without needing to know high-level programming.
